In the Depths?
Semiotic and Visual Communication
Based on the silent film “Metropolis” (Fritz Lang, 1927), a booklet entitled “In the Depths?” was created. The contents of the booklet show visualizations of the minimal text that existed in the film. The purpose is the semantic representation of the text based on how the designer (Eleni Miltiadous) perceives the meaning of the film.
